Rebounding
More commonly know as bouncing on a trampoline :] rebounding has some very impressive cleansing benefits for our lymphatic system. In case you didn’t know, we have twice as much lymph fluid than we do blood.
Blood has the heart to act as a pump to help move it around. Our lymphatic system however doesn’t have any sort of pump-like “device”. Instead, our lymphatic system depends on physical activity, movement, gravity and muscular contractions to do the job. Rebounding gives us all of these methods for cleansing wastes from the cells of our bodies. Waste matter such as dead and cancerous cells, infectious viruses, heavy metals, and all kinds of other waste matter from other cells. As you can imagine, our current sedentary lifestyles make lymph movement a challenge. Some of our biggest challenges to effective body movement for “lymph-cleansing” include sitting in cars, sitting in front of computers or TV screens. As we sit still, our lymph fluid too, sits still. We need an active lifestyle to keep it all moving. And one of the most accessible ways to get this proper movement is through rebounding on a trampoline or even using a jump/ speed rope (which may be harder on joints).
In summary, try to gain access to a trampoline. Rebounding for 15-20 minutes as often as you can will help you cleanse that precious lymphatic system.
Happy rebounding!
